It has been said that experience is what makes us wise and that the trials and tribulations we face are merely the bricks and mortar that make us stronger and more capable in our elder years. Although these philosophies ring true for most people who have lived and learned life's lessons, it would seem that celebrities, namely Lindsey Lohan, are impervious to their message.
Lindsey has been scraping by these days with trips in and out of court, getting in trouble for everything from drinking to theft and then some. The entire family is in a state of disarray, including Lindsey's father who recently found himself arrested in the last week for reportedly becoming physically violent with a girlfriend. Although this family should seem to know more about the legal system than the average law student with a budding masters degree, Lindsey has yet again proven that her depravity knows no bounds.
Lindsey was photographed recently exiting a night club and appeared not only extremely intoxicated (which is not allowed under her current terms of probation) but was so beyond self control that she was seen sprawled out on the streets of New York in her gigantic leopard print fur coat with her face to the pavement and her no doubt ridiculously expensive designer outfit making friends with the gutter.
What continues to baffle onlookers is Lindsey's seeming lack of care for what is clearly behavior that will be made public and can be used against her in court. Although she won the battle against a rehabilitation worker who was claiming she was assaulted by the young starlet, Lindsey's legal woes got significantly worse when she was recently ordered to serve time and community service for failing an alcohol test during a stint in court-ordered rehab, stemming from a 2007 DUI charge, which is on top of more charges of stealing a necklace from a jewelry store. Lohan's "house arrest" term of 120 days begins in June, but will quite probably be as short as 14 days.
